My journey
I grew up in Italy, where I studied French and Dutch at university and obtained a Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting. During my youth, I travelled a lot and loved discovering different cultures. My parents started sending me on language trips from the age of eleven, and it very soon became clear to me that I would be doing something with languages and cultures later on in life. After graduating from university, I went to work as a language assistant and then as a QA operator and query manager in a translation agency. Later I was active in an international commercial back office. After my maternity leave, unexpected circumstances prevented me from working as an employee, which is when I decided to take a course at Starterslabo to start as a freelance interpreter and translator. I soon realized that this path offered even more opportunities, so I also started focusing on Italian and French language training.
Finally, I am a mother of two. At home we speak French and Italian, which means the kids are as excited about languages as I am. I love cooking, knitting, reading, hiking, nature and photography.
In short, I am your one-stop shop for all your Italian, French, English and Dutch linguistic challenges.
